How long does transcription take?
Estimate: ~1/10th of Audio Duration
A 60-minute audio typically takes 6-8 minutes to transcribe.
Speaker Diarization Adds Time
Add ~50% more time if speaker identification is enabled.
Large Files Take Longer
Files over 1 hour may take 15-30 minutes.
Why is my transcription only 5 minutes? (FREE)
Preview-Only Transcription
FREE plan transcribes first 5 minutes as a preview. Upgrade to PRO for full transcriptions up to 5 hours.
Can I transcribe YouTube videos?
Use URL Upload
Dashboard → "From URL" tab → Paste YouTube URL → Start
Works with Public Videos Only
Private or unlisted videos cannot be downloaded.
How do I change transcription language after upload?
Must Re-upload
Language is set during upload and cannot be changed later. Upload again with correct language selected.
How do I delete my account?
Cancel Subscription First
If you have PRO/BUSINESS, cancel subscription in Account → Billing first.
Request Deletion
Go to Account → Settings → "Delete Account" button → Confirm
Permanent and Immediate
Account deletion is permanent. All transcriptions and data will be deleted within 24 hours.
Why does my transcription have timestamps like [00:01:30]?
Helpful for Long Transcriptions
Timestamps let you jump to specific parts in the audio player.
Hide Timestamps
Click "Hide Timestamps" button in transcription view, or export as TXT without timestamps.
Can I edit the transcription after it's done?
Click Any Word to Edit
Click on any word in the transcription to edit it. Changes save automatically.
Changes Are Permanent
Edits update the transcription immediately. Export will include your changes.
