Sort & Filter Your Files

Sorting and filtering help you view your transcriptions in the order that makes most sense for your workflow.

Sort Options

Click column headers to sort:

• Name - Alphabetical order (A-Z or Z-A)
• Uploaded - By date (newest or oldest first)
• Duration - By length (shortest or longest first)

1. 1Click any column header once to sort ascending
2. 2Click again to reverse sort (descending)
3. 3Arrow icon shows current sort direction

Filter by Tabs

Use tabs to filter files:

• All Files - Every transcription
• Created by me - Files you uploaded
• Shared with me - Files others shared
• Favorites - Starred files only

Filter by Status

See only files with certain status:

• Completed - Ready to view
• Processing - Currently transcribing
• Failed - Errors that need attention

Combine Sort + Filter

You can combine sorting and filtering:

1. 1Click "Favorites" tab
2. 2Then sort by "Uploaded"
3. 3Shows favorites ordered by date

Common Sorting Scenarios

Find newest files:

• Click "Uploaded" column header twice
• Files show with newest at top

Find shortest files:

• Click "Duration" column header once
• Shortest files appear first

Find files alphabetically:

• Click "Name" column header
• Files sort A-Z
