How to Sign Up & Create Account

Creating your TranscribeNext account is quick and easy. We offer multiple sign-up methods to suit your preferences.
Choose Your Sign-Up Method
TranscribeNext offers four ways to create an account:
- **Google Sign-Up** - Sign up instantly using your Google account (recommended for Gmail users)
- **Apple Sign In** - Quick sign-up for Apple device users with Apple ID
- **Microsoft Account** - Best for Office 365 and Outlook users
- **Email & Password** - Traditional sign-up with email and custom password
Method 1: Sign Up with OAuth (Google/Apple/Microsoft)

OAuth sign-up is the fastest method - no password to remember, and you're ready in seconds!
- 1Go to transcribenext.com and click "Sign Up"
- 2Click "Continue with Google" (or Apple/Microsoft)
- 3Select your account from the provider's login screen
- 4Grant permissions when asked
- 5You're in! No email verification needed

Method 2: Sign Up with Email & Password
- 1Click "Sign Up" on the homepage
- 2Click "Sign up with Email" button
- 3Enter your full name
- 4Enter your email address
- 5Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
- 6Check the box to agree to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- 7Click "Create Account"
- 8Verify your email (check inbox for verification link)

Password Requirements
- At least 8 characters long
- Mix of uppercase and lowercase letters (recommended)
- Include numbers and special characters for extra security
- Avoid common passwords like "password123"
What Happens After Sign-Up?
After creating your account, you'll be automatically logged in and redirected to your dashboard. You'll start with the FREE plan, which includes:
- 3 transcriptions per day
- Up to 5 minutes per file
- 150MB storage
- Basic export formats (TXT, DOCX)

Want more? You can upgrade to PRO or BUSINESS anytime from Settings > Billing.
OAuth vs Email: Which Should I Choose?
**Choose OAuth (Google/Apple/Microsoft) if:**
- You want the fastest sign-up
- You don't want to manage another password
- You trust your Google/Apple/Microsoft account security
- You want automatic login on trusted devices
**Choose Email & Password if:**
- You prefer complete control over your credentials
- You use a company email not tied to OAuth providers
- You want a dedicated TranscribeNext password
- Your organization requires direct authentication
Important
Once you create an account with one method, you cannot change it. However, you can link additional OAuth providers later in Settings.
