Full language list is available in the upload settings dropdown.
Auto-Detect vs Manual Selection
**Auto-Detect (Default):**
- AI automatically identifies the language
- Works great for most files
- Recommended if you're unsure
- May take a few seconds longer to start
**Manual Selection:**
- You specify the language upfront
- Slightly faster processing
- More accurate for mixed accent audio
- Required for less common languages
How to Select Language
- 1Upload your audio file
- 2In settings, switch to "Custom Mode"
- 3Click the "Language" dropdown
- 4Select your language or leave as "Auto-Detect"
- 5Click "Start Transcription"
When to Use Manual Selection
- **Mixed accents** - e.g., non-native English speakers
- **Less common languages** - Auto-detect may not catch them
- **Faster processing** - Skip detection step
- **Consistency** - Always use the same language setting
